This blog began as an online diary. At the time I moved a lot, and despite my love for “penning” thoughts, I decided to gather them here.
Much of what I write here is personal, with no specific agenda. And over time, as I struggled for time (and intent!) this blog remained a constant. I’ve cut, trimmed, and watered it like a dear plant, and some day, I hope to see it flower into a beautiful tree.

On behalf of all those curious minds out there and before their curiosity meet cat’s fate a burning question – When the name is sampurna why only half a story? I hope the response is full here.
btw: I have absolute clarity regarding where the other half is pickled. I just want readers to get it form the authoritative source.
My dear Yatin, I’m sure you can’t take the whole jar of that pickled stuff, can you (no matter how much of tasty savouries you like)? 😀 Anyway, here’s an attempt at a complete answer:
Yatin: When the name is Sampurna why only half a story?
Sampurna: Well, one needs to think of political correctness, people’s sensitivities, and the prospect of employers digging things up (phew) – I can’t imagine what the FBI would think of this little riddle of nomenclature, but you do put ideas in my head!
Yatin: I wanted an answer, not ideas!
Sampurna: Here, let me try, kid. You take things too literally. Let me put it this way. Consider “Sampurna” the author writing cryptic half-stories about (arguably) half of the things she experiences, so what does that come to in reality — One-fourth of Sampurna’s experiences? That way you would have my blog named One-Fourth-Of-A-Story, kid!
Yatin: That still doesn’t answer my question.
Sampurna: Ok, you don’t like Math. Me neither. Then let us approach this another way. What if this whole thingy about Sampurna’s half-stories is just another exercise in the expanding hyperreality of this universe? I mean, what would you rather have – prophetic rantings about the one true God from one of His Highness’s newest minstrels? I don’t pretend to know it all. So I try and keep my mouth half-shut.
Yatin: But that’s in direct conflict with your name?
Sampurna: What’s in a name, kid? Do you think Shakespeare wrote his Complete Works? Or God ordained people to fight over two versions of his word?
Yatin: God didn’t write blogs (Thank God!)
Sampurna: You are changing the subject… by the way you work for the FBI, don’t you?
Yatin: I am a husband.
Sampurna: I know that! No… not really! How’s it like? Is it too spicy in there inside the jar? 😀
